This shows the 6-year tabulation of units for the ACC, plus some history of units. One key to this is that the payout from the NCAA to the ACC for this year, 2024, is based on the previous six years. The current year (17 units) starts in the tabulation for the 2025 payout. The ACC had 21 units in 2018, which will drop off, and will replace it with the 17 from this year. So the league's payout next year will for 78 units instead of 82. With each unit somewhere around $345,000, that comes to around $28.3 mil to the ACC.

Varies by year. In 2023, SEC, Big 12, and ACC had 17, 16, and 12 units.**
