I think differently.

It’s possible in 2031, if FSU and Clemson leave that the ACC could be better looking than the Big XII to WVU, Cincinnati and UCF. Potentially Arizona State, Arizona and Utah. The ACC just needs to keep its membership at 15. Thinking that the Big XII is automatically signing a bigger contract in 2031 or whenever their next deal starts is not an automatic. The ACC’s payout, which is virtually even with the Big XII, is guaranteed through 2036. (and with step increases) With less travel and similar money, WVU, Cincinnati and UCF may be open to an east coast conference. ** Edited by hokieZ71 at 8/31/2023, 5:29:26 PM ** Edited by hokieZ71 at 8/31/2023, 5:30:47 PM

I'm guessing the votes are there now. My question is there other teams that

Nope

True on all of that, but Northern Cal is not Southern Cal, more
Stech 08/31/23 07:42 PM ET
There's no SoCal team that gets great football TV ratings and is available.
tarheelblue 08/31/23 08:07 PM ET
Most schools in the G5 don’t get great ratings, but when they join a P4,

If we have 2 schools in California, we don't need a third.

People have been complaining about Syracuse and Pitt being dead weight

I don’t want expansion, but if you make a case for No Cal, you need So Cal.
Stech 08/31/23 11:14 PM ET
B1G only has SoCal schools. I don't see them trying to add a NoCal school.

What is the minimum size does a state need to be for the ACC to consider
Maroon Baboon 08/31/23 07:37 PM ET
Pretty much the top 15 in size
mrcaniac 08/31/23 09:50 PM ET
So would you take Memphis and/or Wazzu? And a question about Oregon State.
Maroon Baboon 08/31/23 11:05 PM ET
The distances between schools is unbelievable
mrcaniac 09/01/23 12:43 AM ET
Illinois, Ohio, and maybe Michigan.
tarheelblue 08/31/23 08:11 PM ET
I don't think any of those have the academic pedigree

Louisiana isn't a large state.**

I could see that, but I wonder if they would go public right now with that.**
