I do think if Jim Phillips had not been sitting on his hands either trying to get the B1G Commissioner job again or just longing for the way it used to be, we could have gotten some good football schools like WVU and Cincinnati. Now he’s going after the left overs that neither the B1G for Stanford and Cal or the B12 for SMU wanted, to help keep Notre Dame independent, and we will play under his watch Miami less, ND less, Clemson less and Florida State less than if they never came. That’s going to hurt Virginia Tech’s and other schools ratings, not help them. The last thing we need. So I am frustrated enough now, that I think the Mag 7 plus should just leave. I don’t think the GOR holds up in court if the majority leave. I have never pulled for the SEC, but at least it’s regional and only 1 hour difference in time. My perfect scenario is Virginia Tech, UVA, UNC and NC State to the SEC, but if that can’t happen, or the B1G, then at least the B12 has football first sports schools, those matchups are better than the ones we have and will get better ratings.
