Exactly

Posted similarly before - The ACC’s issue is that as Clemson rose - VT, Miami and then a bit later, FSU fell off. Parity has been the conference’s own worst enemy. The ACC needs these 4 programs at their best - at the same time - meaning only losing to each other in conference play and winning OOC games. 4 top 10ish teams. Would be awesome. Sprinkle in teams like NC State, Louisville, UNC or Pitt with great seasons from time to time. This is the on field performance model that has thrust the SEC and Big10 into media darlings and $s. SEC - Bama/LSU/Georgia w/Auburn and Florida (not too recently w/Florida) Big10 - Ohio St/Michigan w/ Penn St being in the mix and a special season from a Mich St, or Wisc or to a lesser extent an Iowa every now and then. If not - this could get ugly. Got to give the Big12 some credit here - they are being creative and trying things. Colorado and I expect Utah/Arizona/ASU will follow in succession. Especially if that other info posted about Oregon/OSU ends in more movement (with Wash to probably follow quickly). Floodgates appear open on this next round…

Guarantee they wouldn't consider the B12 if Big TX was still there
EDGEMAN 07/26/23 07:46 PM ET
B12 is making the right moves in my opinion. I have said for a while now
133193Hokie 07/26/23 06:20 PM ET
Why? Because they have the fewest schools desirable to the B1G and SEC?
hokieZ71 07/26/23 07:09 PM ET
No, because they are making moves to strengthen their conference and they
133193Hokie 07/27/23 07:47 AM ET
They are forced to make moves because their flagship programs left.
hokieZ71 07/27/23 09:09 AM ET
agree - and if 2 more teams in the ACC can manage to improve to top 20,
VPI_1998 07/26/23 08:14 PM ET
The ACC’s problem is Clemson, FSU and Miami have never all been good
hokieZ71 07/26/23 08:17 PM ET
Yep, and for quite a while, none of the 3 were good. **
