If Brutus the Buckeye is breaking stories, I am here for it.
Maybe the B1G was waiting for other schools (CU in the this case) to bolt to a different conference, so the B1G wouldn't get saddled with being the one to break up the Pac-12.
But we know that's a crock and just lawyer talk.
