VT no. 73 ranked program on the viewership listing shared by WBGV for the ave weekly viewers. VT - Worst rating of any ACC Program (yes even worse than UVA, Wake and BC) UVA no. 58 has 50% more viewership than VT: How does this happen? If football viewership is driving the boat (which it is), then this particular data collection does not bode well for VT? (Understood this is a single year and a single source, just looking at this report a little closer for a sniff test). P.S. I'm a VT alumni and would love to see us stay in the current ACC (won't happen as it is imploding rather than exploring), but if we need to move then would prefer the SEC simply because I feel more connection to the SEC (geography, style of play, etc)
