Fact is.......
if football is driving the conference expansion bus then anyone selecting UNC and/or UVA are selecting the clearcut #2s in football in those states. Both have good to great overall athletic programs but, they are either zeros(UVA) or declining(UNC) to zero in football. Selecting those schools is akin to taking BC and Syracuse for TV sets while ignoring the fact they would not contribute much to the ACC's football problem. For the SEC it is akin to adding two more Vandy's with slightly better hoops. For the B1G likely adding a few more Marylands or Indianas.
