You are speaking in platitudes and I have a hard time telling what you mean

For example, you say that you would support a plan to get out "yesterday" and that we should have a plan to get out "regardless of cost." This sort of language shows more of a sense of urgency, than a sense of reality. Sure, we should be trying to establish a plan to both exit the ACC, and enter one of the two P2 conferences. But in no way can these things realistically be done "yesterday" or even next week. As far as I know, we have no deal (formal or informal) with the Big Ten or the SEC. Does FSU and Clemson? Probably so. But we aren't FSU or Clemson, who have more football cachet than we do and no in-state public school that they are aligned with WRT their departure. There's levels to this. . Lastly, doing almost anything in life "regardless of cost" is usually a bad idea. Perhaps there are things in life where this maxim would apply, but for my money, college athletics isn't one of them. If the SEC came knocking right now and offered us the SMU deal (no TV revenue for 9 years), would you take it? If so, then you are setting up the program for failure and you could bankrupt the athletic department and we would probably never whiff a CFP birth (unless we come into SMU oil money). If no, then you are going against pretty much everything you just wrote.
