Thank you. You caused me to reevaluate my wild speculation. Miami seems to
be kind of an odd sock when it comes to expansion. They just don't seem to fit in the SEC if FSU joins. Not sure the conference would want 3 teams in Florida, plus Miami is a pro sports town and the SEC sees to shy away from those.
Of course Miami will be BACK as a powerhouse next year and a lock for the new playoffs.
