Adding USF would help address some of UCF's isolation (assuming Cincy and

WVU join the ACC). However, I'm not sure it would be a complete fix if you look at what is going on with the Big Ten now that USC and maybe UCLA are scheduled to join the conference. Many people believe that the Big Ten plans to add 2-4 more Pac-12 schools to reduce the USC/UCLA isolation issue at some point in the future. I would expect the Big XII to do the same thing with the UCF/USF isolation issue. The UCF/USF isolation issue may even be a good enough reason for the Big XII to not let Cincy and WVU join the ACC. If the Big XII wants 4-8 members east of the Mississippi River, then why let 2 leave if the pickings are starting to get slim? Who from the AAC, C-USA, MAC, or Sun Belt is desirable enough to fill Cincy's and WVU's vacated seats?

I would assume a new Big12 deal comes with a new GOR

I suspect the Big XII's new GOR won't be as long as the ACC's current GOR

One can only hope Jim Phillips is on top of this.

The simplest solution to the UCF isolation is to just invite USF.**

I think he views himself as protecting college sports.

I agree, he needs to make the ACC better in football with WVU & Cincinnati.
