It may not matter if the Big Ten and SEC decide they are going to do their
own thing for all sports. Even if the Big Ten doesn't have a physical presence in the South, it will still have a presence as Big Ten fans and alumni migrate to the South. Plus, for casual fans who are only interested in "big time college athletics" may decide to tune in to watch a Big Ten athletic event on their TV, tablet, smartphone, or computer particularly if the championship game/series will always be Big Ten Champion vs. SEC Champion.
