FWIW a nonstop flight from Dulles to Dubai was about 10-12 hours to there

and 13-14 hours on the flight back. It is worth noting that for the flight home, I left Dubai around 3am, the flight path took us over Iran the more eastern part of Eastern Europe, and I am landed in Dulles sometime between 7-8am the same day.
