The ACC needs ND more than ND needs the ACC. I read it

differently. I see ND scheduling Miami, Clemson, and FSU every year. Maybe Stanford, but rotating everyone else in the ACC. Then, those schools use those viewership ratings to claim their "brand" money from the ACC. ND will schedule anyone they want, and no longer play the rotation they have been on. Those ACC home games against ND will be high profile games, on network prime time, and the blue bloods of the ACC and ESPN both get what they want. VT will be in that mix when they start competing for a National Championship again, as will any other team in the ACC. Until then, it's my guess that the basketball and football blue bloods will get more money than the rest of the ACC, a trade off for stability.
