If the SEC, truly wants schools that care more, they will take VT &NCSU 4🏈

and UNC and UVA for basketball. I do think basketball will pay out for at least the Sweet 16 for basketball like football (it’s not like the NBA doesn’t make tons of money), but until the CBS contract expires in 2031, the money is in football. The SEC would be smart to take all 4 at a reduced rate, and then make ridiculous money from all 4 when there is money in basketball. In the meantime, the Tech and State football games against other SEC schools will be off the hook like most if not all SEC games. The state of Virginia with no Pro teams is a college sports state, that is in top 12 in population and top 10 in wealth, and cares most about college sports, it should be a no brainer, but we will see how smart the SEC and ESPN are on this move.
