ND is not going to vote to dissolve the ACC

It wants the ACC to survive in some form after the departures of FSU, Clemson and North Carolina. That is why it pushed for the additions of SMU, Cal and Stanford. ND doesn't want to join the Big Ten. It has strived mightily for 30 years to avoid doing that, P2 universe now or not. It wants to remain a football independent and a viable ACC helps with that a lot. In fact, a revised ACC without North Carolina but with more private schools suits ND just fine. ND would have more political power in the ACC with those three schools gone, especially the Tar Heels. ** Edited by TerryD at 3/30/2024, 12:31:17 PM

You know what? If the Pac12 can vaporize, the ACC can vaporize**

About the same chances as all 7 having landing spots in the P2

I still don’t see how Georgia Tech and Pitt are so undervalued
lawhokie 03/30/24 08:04 AM ET
They are the "other school" in states dominated by a single team

It's all about "brand" now

Just a guess

Frankly, I don't think all 7 have invites in hand, but that is just

you asked for the chances. I gave my opinion on what those chances are

Fair enough. **

Unlikely with FSU/Clemson having P2 spots…
BROman Hokie 03/29/24 06:37 PM ET
An easier way to do this is to form a mini-relegation and promotion system

FSU and Clemson will be in the SEC in 2-3 years.

Mag 7 in discussions with P2

IF there are P2 invites for the Mag 7, then how are those secured?

I think 8 votes to dissolve is an urban legend and this is much more likely

I love the MAG7. Let's do it!

It’s a good lineup:

ND is not going to vote to dissolve the ACC

Cannot imagine why Notre Dame would vote to dissolve. No benefit to them.**

The 8th school could be someone like a Louisville that says to heck

FSU people were saying the 8th was Louisville to B12, it’s plausible, as
