For that to happen it would mean that all 8 would likely have an

agreement in place with one or more conferences thus indicating their intention to join a new conference. Something I read during last expansion frenzy was that the B12's bylaws/charter state a team loses its voting privilege once it has indicated its intention to leave the conference. It was suggested the ACC bylaws would likely say something similar. IF that is the case (??), would the 8 even be able to vote on a move to dissolve the conference? Are there 8 teams in the ACC that would be willing vote to dissolve the conference without at least a "gentleman's agreement" for a soft landing spot? I've tried to do some research on the question but there so much rumor and speculation and not a lot of factual information for me to be certain of what's possible and what's not.
