I think this will happen, but not formally.

ND will continue to schedule Stanford home and away. Maybe every so often, we will have five ACC/ND games whenever Stanford's rotation is due, but mostly we will have six ND games. If I were ND, I would even give in on that, as a show of solidarity. But maybe they won't. That works out better for everyone, IMO. ND does not want to explain why they gave up something to the ACC. In reality, it helps ND a lot to keep Stanford afloat, so they are getting something major from this expansion. How would it look, if Stanford was just a G5 team?
