No

They weren't stoked about going beyond 14. I think more than 16 to that conference is going to require even more creativity than what has been discussed with potential ACC expansion WSU and Cal can't afford to play for free.

Big 12 may be interested in Pac 4 **
goldendomer 08/26/23 01:10 PM ET
No interest from the B12. This is pressure tactic from Cal and Stanford. **
xx97 08/26/23 05:02 PM ET
I believe - ESPN is stirring the B12 pot because it’s good for them
Hokie12thman 08/26/23 05:42 PM ET
Let's say the Big 12 adds the 4 remaining Pac-12 schools...
Old Line Hokie 08/26/23 02:39 PM ET
Stanford and Cal belong in an academic conference, and the ACC is it. **
Big12 guy 08/26/23 03:54 PM ET
I think you meant the ivy league**
EDGEMAN 08/26/23 06:23 PM ET
Well, to be honest, that is where they belong. The beer drinking
Big12 guy 08/26/23 06:25 PM ET
I would be fine with adding Cincinnati along with WVU under your scenario.
Maroon Baboon 08/26/23 03:48 PM ET
The writing is on the wall, chances are, you will lose those FLA. Schools.
Big12 guy 08/26/23 04:06 PM ET
Yeah. We are aware of that. Read the context to the thread.
Maroon Baboon 08/26/23 04:18 PM ET
Doesn't really matter what YOU are planning on
xx97 08/26/23 07:00 PM ET
Self-evident.**
Maroon Baboon 08/26/23 07:28 PM ET
WVU would be leery of joining ACC now
Millpoint 08/26/23 03:36 PM ET
That 's yet to be seen considering almost everyone...
Old Line Hokie 08/26/23 07:24 PM ET
Unfortunately it’s all about $
Millpoint 08/26/23 07:36 PM ET
It’s certainly possible
OU_Sooner 08/26/23 02:26 PM ET
With ESPN but not Fox
Millpoint 08/26/23 02:40 PM ET
No
obguthr 08/26/23 02:57 PM ET
If that happens (it won’t) it almost guarantees the ACC sticks through 2036
hokieZ71 08/26/23 02:16 PM ET
The ACC needed to take 7 or more teams from the West to make it make sense.
Maroon Baboon 08/26/23 01:48 PM ET
Except for the 4 California Pac-12 schools, none of the other Pac-12....
Old Line Hokie 08/26/23 02:00 PM ET
UW is in the fifties, and AZ / OR / UT are all right around 100 I believe**
LonghornHokie 08/26/23 03:45 PM ET
I think The B1G will eventually grow the western division. They may want
33laszlo99 08/26/23 01:56 PM ET
From what I’ve read - ESPN is behind this
Hokie12thman 08/26/23 01:32 PM ET
Fresno State seems more passionate about football than Cal and Stanford.
Maroon Baboon 08/26/23 01:51 PM ET
Makes more sense than the ACC...
Old Line Hokie 08/26/23 01:30 PM ET
Makes more sense to me too, @ least they can regionalize the non-rev sports**
Stech 08/26/23 01:51 PM ET
Perhaps this will push the ACC to finish the deal**
LeadingEdge 08/26/23 01:26 PM ET
or maybe just another rumor someone thinks will have that effect**
Vienna_Hokie 08/26/23 01:29 PM ET
Can’t see this happening
Millpoint 08/26/23 01:25 PM ET
If these four all end up in The MWC, ESPN has no FB content in the Pacific
33laszlo99 08/26/23 01:52 PM ET
Isn’t Arizona on PST from March until November?
Millpoint 08/26/23 02:15 PM ET
Mountain Time zone schools already do "After dark" games.**
xx97 08/26/23 05:01 PM ET
I think that's right.**
33laszlo99 08/26/23 02:27 PM ET
So UA and ASU could easily do "After Dark"
