well that's where the frustration lies. Some business we have no choice.
We need the oil and we need the Saudi blessing and territory in order to conduct our military and political business within the middle east. For that we as a country turn a blind eye to things.
But for private business ventures, some people feel that the almighty dollar is more important to patriotism. Let's face it ... golfers make a ****-ton of money already. millions of people in the NY/NJ area were directly affected by the attacks and feel betrayed that professional athletes, who most would say are already rich enough, don't value what happened to the US more than they do their own personal greed.
I'm not saying it's right or wrong (I do have my own personal opinions on the matter) I'm just answering the original question of the LIV controversy.
