Wake gets a bad rap, but go look up their facilities improvements. Their

big donor McCreary has invested upwards of $100M in Wake football and all sports really facilities. I've come across an article or so commenting Wake facilities may only be second to Clemson! The issue with Wake is their size and nobody really gives a hoot about them outside the state of North Carolina.

Can see some of your points, but not fair to the teams if ESPN chooses not

Wake versus BC at the end of the year in a meaningful game had a viewing

Revenue feeds into all other sports
HokieAl 07/09/22 04:38 PM ET
That seems to be the beginning of the end for a Conference.

MLB works like that. Forced equality = Instability...
jesuisvtguy 07/09/22 05:43 PM ET
Yeah but the NFL is THE pro sports league in the US and they split evenly**
MrBayAreaHokie 07/09/22 09:15 PM ET
All of their games are NFL games

Didn't Texas get a bigger cut several years back from the Big12?**

I don’t want to do either, but of the 2, I would prefer to boot like Temple
Stech 07/09/22 05:15 PM ET
Have to stay equal distribution. **

I think there should be some hybrid system on the table.

In a perfect world, I agree, but

Its the only way it's sustainable**
133743Hokie 07/09/22 04:10 PM ET
I think that depends on what you want to sustain
daveinop 07/09/22 04:29 PM ET
Sustaining a conference where 3/4 of conference gets less and therefore
wwhokie1 07/09/22 07:34 PM ET
The nfl proves you should split evenly
MrBayAreaHokie 07/09/22 09:20 PM ET
And it would work if the entire power 5 split evenly
clemson81nc 07/10/22 10:02 AM ET
I would add OOC games to those revenue ops.
daveinop 07/10/22 08:23 AM ET
If you have to do that in the first place, your conference isn't nationally
NokieHokie 07/09/22 04:48 PM ET
I think something should be done......

Problem is dollars are fungible
clemson81nc 07/10/22 10:05 AM ET
Seems like mostt in the ACC have upped their FB spending in the last year.

Yep, Wake has put forth the effort lately. And was paying off. **
wwhokie1 07/09/22 07:45 PM ET
now they need to schedule real teams OOC

I think you meant to say "no one outside of NC Triad gives a hoot" about WF
HboroughHokie 07/09/22 03:10 PM ET
Maybe...but very rare occasion that I won't watch and pull for Wake when
