That is why they would be pulling in $80M a year instead of the full $106M a year. So, if 4 teams leave, those 4 teams in total will pay the schools staying about $10M each a year. If 8 schools leave for the SEC/B1G, then the remaining ACC schools would be getting about $20M each a year until 2036 from the teams that left. If everybody left except for Wake, Pitt, Syr, and BC, those schools would receive almost $87M a year until 2036 from the exiting members. They could backfill the ACC football with Temple, UMASS, and UCONN and join the Big East in basketball and make the same amount as the schools leaving, at least until 2036.
