the athletes are much less concerning to me. It is State legislators getting in the action. If they are going to pay the athletes like professionals, then that comes with taxes. It's the 501(c)(3) status of the athletic departments and anti trust issues that will in all probability be the catalyst to change what we currently have. I'm increasingly becoming convinced that there will be Federal action. If the P2 or any variation of football wants to break away, then they will be treated as businesses, and taxed accordingly. There is a LOT of leverage out there to change the trajectory of this sport, and while it's all speculation on my part, I think some big changes are on the horizon.
