Well let’s start with why they were lovie dovie a year ago, they worked together to get control of the playoff and get most of the money. They said if you don’t give it to us we are going to leave and have our own playoff. It worked, it’s up to them to decide the playoff rules and they get 60% of the money. Yep even threw ND a bone in the MOU to get some good will with ND, be careful though, they are going to want something later, maybe to join? 🤷‍♂️ However, what is causing the so called divorce? I think the B1G has realized that the SEC is not done consolidating power. Not only do they want some of the ACC and maybe B12 schools, they also want some B1G schools and probably ND too. I could see multiple regions in this P1, with maybe even the NFL running it like MLB runs their farm teams. I don’t know for sure, but they are up to something, and the B1G and other commissioners know they want the power and money to themselves.
