So why do the SEC and B1G want to require 5 years of independence
for a P4 school to move unless they dont really want to expand ? They also want to cap conferences at 19 per Ross Dellanger. Sounds to me like only Notre Dame (or UConn) would be on the table for the B1G based on that criteria. The ACC could decide to offer its last slot to the highest G5 bidder SMU style to not be permanently left out of the P4 forever. This could get interesting.
