“Of th 18 teams in the Big Ten this year, just seven are .500 or better in

conference play. Eight of the 14 teams in 2023-2024 version of the Big Ten finished .500 or better in conference play. Traveling to new venues across the country is tough. Take Michigan State, a top 10 team that entered last week at 18-2 on its way to Los Angeles. Then they lost to USC and UCLA.” I agree there isn’t a lot to base this on yet, but the same is true with the ACC and some are already burying them. However, the early indicators for both Conferences are not great, to put it mildly. Now let’s see how they do in the tournament for more information.

They'll flop in the NCAA tournament, like they always do **

The Big 10 stats quoted are pretty meaningless

11 teams who lost more than they won so far is not very good in my book,

You get that in-conference is zero sum, right?

That’s your opinion, not a fact, duly noted, we will see if it holds up in
Stech 02/07/25 01:20 PM ET
There's nothing to "hold up." That's kind of the point.**
