Quoting how many teams are over 0.500 in conference? That says nothing about the difficulties of cross-country travel. Says close to nothing about anything really. At least look at away records. Maybe even dare to look at longer vs. shorter trips...which based on a quick look at how the west coast B1G teams have done on their longest trips isn't all that compelling.

but if you think that is meaningless, you have a right to your opinion. I do agree it’s not a lot of evidence yet, but it certainly could be an indicator. We will know more after the NCAA tournament is played. You could be right, and it could mean nothing.

And it's actually 10 teams (1 is at 0.500). Swap a couple results of 5-7 teams and it's only 8 that have lost more than they've won...less than half of the league. This is a stat you want to draw broader conclusions from? What would your conclusions be for the league that looks the way it does now vs. my hypothetical and barely different league?
