getting 1 week off in the NFL makes sense, but it will be interesting to see how teams who have been off for 3+ weeks play against a team who just played a game 1 week ago after a 2 week break. I think we're going to see situations where rust is going to cost the teams with byes when they play hot teams coming off a win. and if we do, we'll get to 16 real quick. I should add: I also wonder how long the appetite for teams to play in as many as 3 bowl games (after likely playing in a Conf Champ Game) will last?
