that FBS is changing so fast, and the gap is getting larger, there is no way that ANY G5 school is content. Don't think for one solitary second that the lower FBS schools want to be left behind. There is a reason FCS schools are scrambling to get into the FBS, and it is not to be content with buy in games. Utility infielders have a minimum salary, and they play on major league dirt. Division one FBS athletics is the front porch of the university, and to discount the donations, regional support, and student recruitment because of athletics ignores so much of what made college athletics popular in the first place. JMU didn't invest all that money in their facilities and programs to ride in the back of the bus.
