Bravo for considering them as football only members. That's what's needed

Let football do whatever crazy crap they want. It's only one game a week, 12 games a year, and only have to travel for 5-6 games. So sure, join whatever geographic conference you want. But keep all the other sports tied geographically. It's less travel for the student athletes, uses regional rivalries, and just makes sense for every sport that is not football.
