If ACC expands, they need critical mass in other time zones besides

the east. Regional conferences worked for the linear networks because they sold their product to regional cable companies that are dying quickly. But the national streaming companies want sports product that encompasses all time zones. That is why they bid so aggressively for pro sports. Even international sports since they have customers worldwide. I think the B1G has this in mind as they have build out their footprint. The next big money deals in cfb will be driven by bidding between Amazon, Apple, Disney etc. Fox is in a bit of a corner right now as they lack a national streaming platform. And this is why
