I can see it if they are historical rivals that the state wants to see

played every year. But I don't think anyone in the state considers NC State vs. Charlotte as must see. I will say this though. When it comes to G5s, I think the Appalachian State and East Carolina are good combo. In many years, they can beat UNC and NC State. Good followings. ECU has one of the best home attendance of any G5 (them and Fresno State). And AppState, which is relatively new to BCS football is one of the more winning programs historically (before and after becoming FBS). They became permanent legendary status (PLS) for me when they beat Michigan. I didn't even know what state they were from before that game. You talk about putting something on the map. Now I will hope to make it to Boone, NC for a game sometime. Looks awesome.

Smart. The bill would only have hurt UNC and State with their P2 dreams**
