The ACC needs the lower end privates to put their money where
their mouth is. It is what will weigh down the ACC if the top few teams bolt. The middle of the ACC is right there with the B12. The "brands" of the ACC are clearly better than the brands in the new B12. All that being said, the B12 is a collection of the middle schools, with no real weakness, and no real strength. Solid, stable, but jury is out on whether or not they will actually compete and win games in the playoffs.
With FSO, UNC, Miami, and Clemson football - the ACC should have received a bigger % in the playoffs IMHO. The new B12 hasn't earned it, ........... yet.
