I think it would profit the ACC to add a Texas team. That's a massive state (lots of ACCN subscriptions) that loves football and might be really nice for recruiting. Yeah. I know there's a downside. Such as, it's a private school, and they would be isolated geographically. But I think they would be a great add if we decided to go into other regions. Side note: I've always had a bit of a soft spot for SMU since the Pony Express and the Death Penalty days. Mainly over my thought that if they were a blue blood, they never would have been given the death penalty. You can't tell me that every SEC team hasn't done what SMU had done at some point in the last 50 years. Well, except for Vandy (Fake SEC Team).
