Ahh - to go back to the days where conferences made sense and SEC schools
didn't completely dominate. I think we had a national champion from almost every "major" conference between 1990 and 2001, didn't we?
PAC-10 - Washington
B1G - Michigan (maybe another?)
Big 8 - Nebraska (x3)
ACC - GT,FSU (x2)
Big East - Miami (x2 I think?)
SEC - Florida/Alabama

It’s fantasy, but Rutgers would be in the Big East and Virginia Tech in ACC**

It's a great idea - pool the media money, and let schools keep their post
