I agree we should do just that, especially if ESPN supports it $ wise,

I also would take Oregon State and Washington State. Just like Virginia Tech, you need to look at their numbers for the whole state and not just for the town of Blacksburg so to speak. These are decent size state Universities with alums and fans all over the state. It would also help ESPN compete against Fox in those states. The American Coastal Conference could be born and get us new money with new states.

WarHog38 03/06/23 01:15 AM ET
Well if true then BIG is 18, SEC is 16, B12 is 12, ACC is 15, PAC is 8
HokieAl 03/06/23 02:16 PM ET
You had some fine ideas for Step 1, adding a bunch of schools.
33laszlo99 03/06/23 04:19 PM ET
The extra money is what would have been spent on the PAC
HokieAl 03/06/23 05:39 PM ET
So they did this w/o a conference commissioner in place? **

Utah, Colorado, Arizona , Arizona State, will then Become Sought Targets
WarHog38 03/06/23 02:53 PM ET
Looking at the media deals and GOR's, what does the ACC offer the 4 corners
Big12 guy 03/06/23 04:07 PM ET
4 things in my opinion. But might not trump what the XII has to offer.
Maroon Baboon 03/06/23 09:01 PM ET
Geography and money are the only Big12 advantages.

How much more money would, say, Arizona get in the ACC vs. the Big XII?**
Maroon Baboon 03/06/23 05:05 PM ET
ESPN paid-out ~ $32-33 million last year plus $? from The ACCN.
33laszlo99 03/06/23 08:57 PM ET
I suspect the timing on UO/UW was planned by the B10.
