My understanding is that this extra $100M is in addition to the exit fee.

So Texas and Oklahoma pay an extra $50 million each to leave a year early, in addition to the Big 12 exit fee, which I think is calculated at 2 years of conference revenue distribution (~$75 million each). So the total cost to each school to leave the Big 12 was around $125million ($250 million combined). ** Edited by tarheelblue at 2/10/2023, 2:27:48 PM
