I disagree with point1, only. Every party involved went in with their eyes

wide open. They knew there was a downside. But none of them is worse off for taking the time to let the process run to conclusion. Watch how mindful these programs become, in the next few years, knowing that The B1G and The Big 12 will come shopping again before long. They have had their wake-up call and they will be ready next time. Many skeptics owe an apology to George K. for mocking his stubborn optimism. (Myself included) Sorry George. You were right.
