I don't think Flagship status would matter that much....

if the B1G could get into Florida, one of the most populated states. They didn't add the Flagship university in California... yet. Maybe they add Cal-Berkeley soon? The AAU qualification would mean little if the B1G could get into Florida and SEC country. As long as the ACC has its GOR, the B1G and SEC won't be interested. The B1G will likely raid the Pac-12 and possibly a school in the Big 12, but I think that they'll get to 20 by going west. IMHO, I think the B1G has cooled off on Notre Dame. Iowa State makes sense but I don't see them in the B1G's plans. They add no value. Kind of like if the SEC added Texas Tech or Baylor. They simply don't need them. Like everyone here knows, the B1G and SEC would love to raid the ACC but that pesky GOR is preventing it. John Swofford wasn't a good conference commissioner, but his GOR is saving the ACC momentarily. Who would of thunkit? ;)

FSU has a loud mouth, but they aren't in any better position than

The BIG difference is that FSU is probably more appealing to SEC/B1G than

I agree, they are more attractive than some, but not all. My point was

Maybe. I am not sure Gators desire them in SEC**

Tend to agree. To me, one of the interesting questions is FSU/Miami. I

What do you think Miami's ceiling would be in the SEC?

Which hurts Florida (and the SEC) more; having FSU in the Big Ten or SEC?
VTHokie2000 08/22/22 03:29 PM ET
SEC imo. Fla kids want to be in SEC, not BIG**
