Why should ACC "move on" from ND?
gman86 08/22/22 10:24 AM ET
The ACC needs to go on the offensive
HokieZig 08/22/22 03:34 PM ET
We have IMO moved on from full ND membership
Truthahn 08/22/22 02:25 PM ET
The ACC just needs to realize ND is not a long term member
EDGEMAN 08/22/22 12:32 PM ET
Agreed. Continue to have ND relationship under current TV deal,
hokiesrule98 08/22/22 04:00 PM ET
They can’t move on unless ND leaves. However expansion wise, move on. Stop
Stech 08/22/22 11:21 AM ET
Houston? **
MrFantastic! 08/22/22 02:49 PM ET
Would you still leave ND's ACC games at 5 with 16 schools?
Victor Tango 08/22/22 11:53 AM ET
I would get WVU in and allow ND a road game there each year.**
MrFantastic! 08/22/22 03:27 PM ET
ND hated the 2000 game there so much....
TerryD 08/22/22 03:48 PM ET
I thought I remembered a similar experience with Miami
HOO86 08/22/22 04:22 PM ET
Not happening
TerryD 08/22/22 12:59 PM ET
Because some schools want to keep the dissolution number at 8?
Truthahn 08/22/22 02:18 PM ET
I don’t think unless they leave, it will change, it’s an asset. However,
Stech 08/22/22 12:03 PM ET
ND isn't holding the ACC back from expanding
TerryD 08/22/22 01:01 PM ET
Ignorance of academia desires.
MrFantastic! 08/22/22 03:20 PM ET
Agreed. The ACC knows that ND is never joining
HokieAl 08/22/22 01:44 PM ET
I now see 20
MrFantastic! 08/22/22 03:28 PM ET
I wish the ACC would do it. But can’t see them being that bold
HokieAl 08/22/22 04:13 PM ET
The ACC would be crazy to walk away from ND.**
reestuart 08/22/22 11:03 AM ET
E$PN would reduce ACC's (and obviously VT's) payout by a bunch if they.
Lakeridgehokie 08/22/22 11:22 AM ET
And $ would go up if we started beating them regularly.
Truthahn 08/22/22 02:28 PM ET
would also likely lose some bowl bids.**
reestuart 08/22/22 11:24 AM ET
Only when the current bowl contract runs out. Even if the ACC continues
VTHokie2000 08/22/22 12:20 PM ET
Agreed. It is a mutually beneficial relationship
HokieAl 08/22/22 11:00 AM ET
Agree 100% but it is an emotional issue for some, not rational. On the
Femoyer Hokie 08/22/22 10:36 AM ET
One foot out the door .....

One foot was never in the door...by mutual agreement
TerryD 08/22/22 12:57 PM ET
We may have a foot out the door but we won't move first
goldendomer 08/22/22 11:05 AM ET
They need to convince 8 other ACC schools, if not more. It’s a very tall
Stech 08/22/22 11:24 AM ET
and 8 other schools have no guaranteed destination.**
obguthr 08/22/22 12:45 PM ET
8 at a minimum need to vote to leave, you can bet they will have places to
