Don't think it is population-driven

the more " desirable" schools like Notre Dame, Clemson, and oregon.are not from big populous areas seems to be more bout name recognition or "brand". the bigger the brand the more desirable. Not sure our brand is big enough to help us. I think we are borderline. Its not like they are not going to show games in virginia if vt or uva is not in one of these conferences

Agree. Don't see them getting that big. Both are taking prime properties.
