I just don’t get all the drama around the playoff and championship

It is not a big deal financially. The amount a conference can make is small compared to the rights agreements. The impact on the perception and fanbases of the schools is small. Does anyone really think that OSU not advancing has any impact on how much money they will make next year? This is all just a bunch of dick waving. It shows that the leadership of these conferences have way too much free time in their hands.
