Playoffs. The source said if the other conferences and Notre Dame didn't agree to this proposal, then the Big Ten and SEC were leaving to form their own playoffs. The format supposedly is as follows: 4 P4 champions receive automatic bids Highest ranked G champion receive an automatic bid Notre Dame receives an automatic bid if it is ranked in the Top 12 Remaining 6 or 7 at-large bids (depending on Notre Dame) will go to the highest ranked teams
