This is from the Athletic

does this summarize your collective gripes? "It’s hard to know where Notre Dame’s relationship with the ACC goes from here, or how much of the pettiness on the part of the conference will be forgotten. The official ACC Football account taking aim at the Irish’s resume on X and the ACC Network showing Notre Dame-Miami 13 times last week don’t need to leave scars. Notre Dame’s real concern should be the competence of a conference that allowed its championship game to be played between Virginia and five-loss Duke. The league failed to put in place a system that got Miami to the conference title game, opening the door for James Madison to steal a bid. That’s strategic mismanagement. The league could have avoided alienating Notre Dame simply by having the foresight to put guardrails in place to get its best teams to its marquee event. Instead of Notre Dame and Miami in the CFP, the ACC put in place protocols that led to Notre Dame or Miami." ** Edited by mancunian at 12/8/2025, 11:20:35 AM

goldendomer 12/08/25 10:42 AM ET
It doesn't become ND to be a whinny little brat.**
Atlee Hokie 12/08/25 07:51 PM ET
I understand Notre Dame's AD's frustration, but....
Old Line Hokie 12/08/25 04:46 PM ET
The fact is, ND didn't beat ANY really good teams except overrated Navy**
MDHokie79 12/08/25 03:05 PM ET
If the ACC was against ND over Miami, then the media also played a big part
IB4TECH 12/08/25 01:54 PM ET
Like I said yesterday.......
2hhoop3 12/08/25 01:32 PM ET
Did you or anyone ever think differently? **
Big12 guy 12/08/25 01:41 PM ET
Aside from the Kelly years, I've always liked ND, and I've also not really
reestuart 12/08/25 01:56 PM ET
Yes......
2hhoop3 12/08/25 01:43 PM ET
OK, when I was a kid, maybe I thought differently as well. **
Big12 guy 12/08/25 01:46 PM ET
Have you ever really......
2hhoop3 12/08/25 01:49 PM ET
Ouch**
Big12 guy 12/08/25 02:07 PM ET
Disingenuous to pin this on the ACC
Vippie1 12/08/25 01:15 PM ET
I don't think the ACC did anything wrong at all. I'm surprised they did it.**
reestuart 12/08/25 01:25 PM ET
I just sent him boxes of Pop Tarts and tissues via Amazon
Tailgate Guru 12/08/25 01:03 PM ET
First Thought Why Pop Tarts? Then I realized that's the new name for Bowl.
HOO86 12/08/25 01:28 PM ET
Bevacqua mentioned it in his rant **
Tailgate Guru 12/08/25 01:48 PM ET
Hope they enjoy the prestige of all their sports sans football
Vippie1 12/08/25 01:22 PM ET
First, any B12 schedule is better than the schools in your post. Second,
Big12 guy 12/08/25 02:52 PM ET
Obviously ND AD is mad.
RandomAsianGuy 12/08/25 12:33 PM ET
maybe he and Kraft at PSU, can cry on each other's shoulders.]**

ND ready to go to the Big 10?**
Stech 12/08/25 11:28 AM ET
That’s what I was wondering. Their outrage is misplaced. **
reestuart 12/08/25 11:44 AM ET
The nice comments about Bama cracked me up, they screwed them not Miami,
Stech 12/08/25 11:47 AM ET
He should have called out ESPN/CFP. ESPN owns the CFP and the SEC. That's
reestuart 12/08/25 12:16 PM ET
He probably wants Commissioner fired or they will leave or both, I am fine
Stech 12/08/25 12:23 PM ET
I have always thought the arrangement was a net positive for the ACC, but
reestuart 12/08/25 12:27 PM ET
ND doesn't need a partnership with the B12, BIG,
Big12 guy 12/08/25 01:04 PM ET
Big East would likely work for non-football, but they already did that
reestuart 12/08/25 01:24 PM ET
The PAC is gone, and it appears that some sports
Big12 guy 12/08/25 01:35 PM ET
FWIW the Pac-12 will resume operates as a functioning athletic conference
VTHokie2000 12/08/25 02:03 PM ET
LOL! WTF? He can kiss off. What a bunch of babies. **
reestuart 12/08/25 11:27 AM ET
The bloom is off that turd which is Notre Dame.**
manassashoo 12/08/25 11:21 AM ET
I admire your gift for imagery.**
33laszlo99 12/08/25 12:35 PM ET
It's so enjoyable watching ND act like a petulant 10 YO. Taking your ball
drb 12/08/25 11:20 AM ET
This is from the Athletic
mancunian 12/08/25 11:17 AM ET
ND is welcome to take their olympic shorts elsewhere, to hell with them.**
HokieNoVA 12/08/25 11:03 AM ET
I don't get it. having ND associated with the ACC
Big12 guy 12/08/25 11:09 AM ET
What Texas did to the B12 by having their own TV contract, very divisive to
Stech 12/08/25 11:58 AM ET
They were convinced by a person on this board that we were coming in
goldendomer 12/08/25 11:17 AM ET
Right many in ACC voted yes, they thought they would join full time 🏈, but
Stech 12/08/25 12:18 PM ET
The do not have to partner with a conference. It's that simple. **
Big12 guy 12/08/25 12:41 PM ET
Good luck trying to make the NCAA Tournaments in basketball as an
VTHokie2000 12/08/25 01:25 PM ET
goodluck making it as a member of ACC they are terrible and no one goes**
AnotherTechW 12/08/25 01:38 PM ET
Huh? The ACC receives an automatic bid to both NCAA Tournaments in
VTHokie2000 12/08/25 01:52 PM ET
My bad. Let me rephrase. They do not have
Big12 guy 12/08/25 01:36 PM ET
Don’t worry looks like we’re looking to do just that. And then the ACC will
goldendomer 12/08/25 11:09 AM ET
I think we're resolved that blowing up is happening with or without ND
daveinop 12/08/25 04:05 PM ET
I don't think pulling your basketball team and other non-football matter.
reestuart 12/08/25 03:07 PM ET
First? LOL - already in process - you'll want to claim that as well...**
RTFC 12/08/25 03:06 PM ET
LOL, the ACC has been dead man walking since they panic added SMU/CalFord.
Baltimore_Hokie 12/08/25 12:31 PM ET
No lawsuit needed. **
Big12 guy 12/08/25 11:10 AM ET
ACC should merge with the Big East and refuse to schedule ND in any sport
Sunsetunderground 12/08/25 10:53 AM ET
No. I'd rather merge with the Big XII than the Big East
HOO86 12/08/25 11:30 AM ET
Since the ACC's blood bleeds round ball instead of oval ball, the merger
VTHokie2000 12/08/25 12:21 PM ET
I guess, but since we started this mission of Nationwide
HOO86 12/08/25 12:27 PM ET
You can polish a turd and it will still be a turd. My point is the ACC
VTHokie2000 12/08/25 12:41 PM ET
U mean Miami fans won’t travel from South Beach to Hard Rock stadium right?
Stech 12/08/25 12:56 PM ET
Hence why I said South Beach and not Miami ;-)**
VTHokie2000 12/08/25 01:00 PM ET
Merging with the Big East would essentially lock out Notre Dame in the East
Sunsetunderground 12/08/25 11:45 AM ET
Perhaps. But I don't want anyone to join that doesn't want to join.
HOO86 12/08/25 11:55 AM ET
ND needs to leave your conference. **
Big12 guy 12/08/25 11:04 AM ET
We are laying the groundwork for just that**
goldendomer 12/08/25 11:06 AM ET
A lot of Big East schools want to merge with the ACC, might be a stand off.**
Stech 12/08/25 11:44 AM ET
If there is some sort of Big East/ACC merger, it will
Big12 guy 12/08/25 11:58 AM ET
Hello big 12**
goldendomer 12/08/25 11:01 AM ET
and TT, UCF, WV and CIN vs UNC, Stanford, Duke and UVa
RTFC 12/08/25 02:59 PM ET
Enjoy Waco and Provo. Be sure to pack your beads. **
Tailgate Guru 12/08/25 01:09 PM ET
LOL!**
RandomAsianGuy 12/08/25 12:30 PM ET
Or a new ACC Commissioner, if that happens 👏👏👏**
Stech 12/08/25 11:50 AM ET
I don't think that will happen, but a lot of strange things
