Sure, when the ACC turns into a G5 conference here in about 3-4 years.

Maybe not a full on merger, but I could see interest in some sort of scheduling partnership for everything except football, or at the very least basketball. I imagine that, by the time the **** has really hit the fan for the ACC, Cal and Stanford will have bailed to do their own thing, whatever that ends up being, so it's going to be really funny to me seeing SMU isolated in Texas and flying all around the country to play football and basketball games against Wake Forest and Syracuse for an audience of nobody and getting paid peanuts to do it.

The time for a Big East-ACC merger was 2003 or before.

What is your prediction for VT?

I don't think VT is long for the ACC. I'm skeptical they'll go P2, but-

I don't think that is how it would go this time. Currently, UConn

I'll never figure out why SMU's problems had to be the ACC's problems.
