That article is somewhat off base
It's not a "private equity" deal in the traditional sense and the CA system will have very little influence in decision making processes in the Big Ten going forward (if Dellenger's article is to be believed)
But I agree with the broader point - since 2022, there has been no more destructive force in college sports than the Big Ten and its inferiority complex towards the SEC.
