then the question about paying to get/stay competitive just got kicked up another whole level - from the boosters and athletic departments to the overall university administrations. I wonder what the dynamics of that will be like over time, particularly with schools that are losing money already on their athletics and those that are having trouble getting/retaining quality faculties.
