I did. He talked about the UNC-UVa duo in several of his latest episodes.

But everything he is saying is not news to anyone familiar with the ACC. But I think he makes a quantum leap from "UVa and UNC are coordinating" to "UVa and UNC are going to where they are going TOGETHER." I do think UNC and UVa look at each other as peer institutions more so than they do with VT, Duke, or NC State. But one of two things could happen that Flugaur isn't mentioning. 1. The duo could go to separate conferences. I could see UVa going to the B1G if they actually had an invite, while UNC goes to the SEC. 2. The SEC could invite UNC WITHOUT UVa. They just might take UNC and NC State. Or UNC and Duke and be done with it. BTW, I think if point 1 happens (not likely, but not impossible), this would be great for VT to the SEC would become a real possibility. And if the VA government wants to insist that both schools are treated right, they should be angling for this behind the scenes somehow. My Hoo contact told me that UVa might not want to join the SEC for a number of reasons, but one is non-rev sports that the SEC doesn't support (I am assuming soccer and LAX, perhaps a few others). ** Edited by Maroon Baboon at 5/1/2025, 9:24:56 AM

Interesting you only mentioned ACC league related events
VTCALS72 05/03/25 01:43 PM ET
Ultimately we're talking about athletic conferences so it matters

Flugar is unwatchable. With respect to sister analogy

To your point, UVa was laughing harder than anyone during the UNC academic
Maroon Baboon 05/02/25 02:53 PM ET
I dunno - I don’t know that any school (in current environment) is attached

Flugaur is garbage. He had one contact, hit on the USC/UCLA move, that's it

They can *want* to be together, but when the rubber meets the road

I think you under sell the academic snobbery at those 2 places
VTCALS72 05/01/25 01:07 PM ET
I get the snobbery.

A part of it...

Go to football pods of 4 or 5 teams, and schedule the non revs

Or instead of quads and pods, call them conferences, say like the
