Maybe he was talking about the ACC. And even if he was, I wasn't that mad at it. But maybe he was directing it to college basketball as a whole, and the sports media. I can't blame the Big XII for having a chip on their shoulder. And if that's what motivates them, fine. But why people thought Duke was better than Houston had nothing to do with conference affiliation and had everything to do with eye test. Duke looked fantastic the whole tournament until it choked the game away late to UH. At no point in that game did UH look like the better team. But they somehow squeezed out the win.
