when did they start having Herbie as an announcer?

I'll bet that's when ratings started falling. I'm only half kidding because I think he is terrible at it and I'm surprised they have given him such a prominent role. I did have the game on in the background this year, but it was on the skycast channel with no announcers and it was quite nice that way with just the stadium noise. Regarding the teams though, history says that only a select few schools are worthy. In the past 30 years, only 5 times has the national title been won by a non-P2 school. 3 ACC teams have those five titles (FSU, UM, Clemson). All the other titles, going back to the 1994 season, are now sitting in the P2. ** Edited by HokieAl at 1/23/2025, 10:41:26 AM
