The New ACC/ESPN agreement to sublease content to another provider, to do more than the raycom legacy package would require the ACC to approve. The ACC has no incentive to approve unless they are getting more money. The only way to get more money with to bring in another broadcaster. I think either Turner Sports for Warner Brothers Discovery, or the CW (also partially owned by Warner Brothers Discovery, is trying to sublease part of the package from ESPN. Would give them content to lead up to the Nascar Xfinity races on CW and or College Football Playoff coverage, and replacing the NBA coverage that TNT lost. HOWEVER you would want all of this quiet as hell until it was ready to be voted on, to keep from being outbid. ESPN would lose the ACC rights if they went on the open market. The ACC agreements MAY need to the tv contract to be enforceable. So long as the money comes up closer to SEC/Big Ten than Big 12, I think FSU Clemson and company with quiet down, and well end up with some "performance adjustments" to how the money get split up.
